Hiroshige and Eisen: The Sixty-Nine Stations along the Kisokaidō Pollinator this mobile has been designedFeaturing the historic staging route between Edo (Tokyo) and Kyoto, as told by two legendary woodblock artists, Keisai Eisen, who was commissioned in 1835 to create a series of works to chart the Kisokaid journey, and by Utagawa Hiroshige, who replaced Eisen after 24 prints, to complete the series of 70 prints in 1838.
